I often wish SU was setup for threaded discussions. angelshelper81 says "Did that cop just admit on tape that these children were lucky not to be *killed* for doing something stupid?" Umm yes he did-- and umm yes they are lucky. They go into a police station acting like they have a gun and want to rob the police station. The cops assume they have a gun-- that is the correct assumption in that case. The "kids" are lucky the cops did not shoot. I know it is hard for many to believe or accept, but 12 and 14 years olds do commit violent crimes and murder. If you do not believe this check with any juvenile detention center. The cops have every right to believe that it is a real gun. What is so wrong with his statement. They are lucky.

This was hilarious, right up to the last sentence. But... they're lucky they're not in the *morgue*? Did that cop just admit on tape that these children were lucky not to be *killed* for doing something stupid? Good lord!
