That's odd, I have always thought of Google as having cool features with lackluster design. Thinking of design and branding, I think M$ has Google beat hands down.

Boo hoo, I don't care. You obviously didn't try hard enough because you're giving up. You even went as far as mentioning all the things you will miss after you stop working at Google. You show them you white knight of design. If I didn't know better, I'd say you were paid by Microsoft to make Google look lame.

I wouldn't know or care about anything in this article. It might be, that Google uses a lot of data instead of good intuition of a professional designer? Or is the point something else.
