jQuery version of Growl notifications. Usage I could think of: have full screen online video player using tag in HTML5 and this notifcation would say current artist and title, notification of form submission without leaving the page (via Ajax)...i.e. "Form sent".

it's really not that cool. you can put a message in an absolutely positioned div anywhere on the page to achieve the same effect natively in jQuery. Plus, it sucks mousing all the way up to that corner to click a tiny x. There are better methods that are still unobtrusive.
