I'm sorry, but I just can't give Rick Reilly a thumbs up. Also, Chad4848 is spot on. He's not going to be able to get major league hitters out.

After reading this article I'm not a fan of Rick Reilly's writing... anyways, that aside, I bet this kid never sees the majors. And if he does, he'll be nothing special. It doesn't matter if the throws left and right, it matters that he throws strikes left and right. He said himself that his stuff isn't anything special. I feel like his "switch pitching" won't do much against good hitters that can hit the ball from lefties and righties.
