LeLutin discovered 3 months ago- Fuckin' Montreal Police.. abusing of their power so often because they have nothing else to do. Buy yourselves some doughnuts, maintaining a pot belly is something more interesting to do. grr.

Shelly41 rated 4 weeks ago- Hells Bells!

enemyofstate rated 8 weeks ago- From the page: "This is alarming because it seems to suggest that police officers can use their powers to arbitarily punish anyone they don't like. I think most Montrealers would agree that Jones was doing nothing wrong: the very design of Berri Square encourages people to sit on the ledges."

alainjournalist rated 8 weeks ago- What is with police these days? Lucky he didn't get tasered a half-dozen times.

snodog rated 2 months ago- More proof that Canada is not a free country...

missteek72 rated 2 months ago- A big thumbs up for Montreal police for advertising your city to would-be tourists... NOT!

Nutzilla rated 2 months ago- It isn't the fact that he got a ticket, it's the fact that the cops hassled him at all. Something similar happen to me in Seattle; me and my friend were drinking a quick beer in a parking lot( in my truck) and some cops came around the corner of a building and saw us. But they were pissed that all they could get on us was on was drinking in public. So one cop asked if he could look in the cab of the truck, and I said OK( knowing there was nothing illegal). But he found my hunting knife under the seat and charged me with a concealed weapon(wtf?). Well, I went to court and the prosecutor said he had never hear of a law that said a knife in a vehicle was, a concealed weapon(also it took them a good hour or two it figure it out). So he had to drop my case and I just paid the $50 fine for the drinking in public fine. All it was, was a waste of my time, the court's time, and cost the city for that time(most likely more than the $50 I paid).

fee-d-argent rated 3 months ago- From the page: "Watch out, Montrealers: if you sit anywhere in a park other than on a park bench, you could be risking a $628 fine." WTF !?!?!?!?!?!?

Alcoolex rated 3 months ago- Well finally, I was tired seeing that the US gets all the police abuse. We have that too, see, we're "in".
