- Corking deceptively "empty" bottles of wine at Karl F. Schwanzen Winery in Hoboken...it's their newest type of wine, appropriately called "Air Wine" (spell it backwards and it reads "Nowhere," I think)...the 87-year old corker (looks younger doesn't she?), Magda, has been corking since she lost her prima ballerina status with the Moscow Ballet in 1939...emigrated to Hoboken.

- A photo from Snelson's blog. It's kind of brilliant no? I mean it's a photo of a human, but she behaves impossibly... is it an illusion? At first I thought she was weightless, but no, you feel the weight of the woman in her hips, shoulders and in the the fronts of her feet before her toes sink into the mouths of those bottles. (I do anyway.Maybe it's too much cold medicine....sniff)
