Starting conversations with strangers is hard. I think once you overcome your fears and shyness, then conversing with a stranger becomes easier

The great thing about really good advice is that it seems obvious once you hear it. This is good advice on how to talk to that stranger you are stuck (for example) sharing a shuttle from an airport with.
