Christian Rosha Hosoi, born October 5, 1967, was the first rockstar of skateboarding. Also known as "Holmes", he dominated the skateboarding scene for most of the 1980's and was the ultimate vert skater. As vert faded out of favor in the 1990's, so did Hosoi. He began using drugs heavily and hit rock bottom when he was arrested in 2000.
