  • Reconstructing the structure of the world-wide music scene with last.fm

    Every artist I inputted was in the extremities, I had nothing even remotely near the middle. I stayed mostly in the red and gray - my tastes aren't exactly varied. It would be nice to be able to click on all the dots, not only ones you tagged. Oh well, it's still interesting to map out...

    Wow, The Books and The GO Team are right next to each other even though they seem to me like complete opposites to me. I mean, I like them both so I guess maybe this website knows more about my music tastes than I do.

    I only really like Lastfm to see my own charts. The popular taste of the general public doesnt interest me in the slightest bit; however - this is a really nice mapped out list which made for an interesting read for a while.

    Colour coded according to genre. Too bad a lot of the search results are buried under other performers.

    This should be in 3D. A lot of the bands I like are buried under Radiohead.
