- A realistic view how true successes happen. The big blow out events are easily forgotten if they are the first time someone has encountered your brand.

- It's so great to have it pointed out that grand openings are just something that we think we ought to do when, in fact, once again, the counter-intuitive proves to be true. No need to promote early. Promote ready.

- Not so grand idea by Seth, although I agree with the idea of focusing on creating a great product and consistent service. Gala's, fundraisers and grand openings can be a great way to bring your sneezers and early adopters together to gain more energy about your product or organization. I am biased however, I am apart of the caterers and hotels and such. We support many non-profits in their effort to advance their cause.
