I feel the same way. If I discount my prices I do two things: One, I am telling the other person that I was charging too much in the first place. Two, my service/product is not worth the higher price. If I need to change pricing it needs to be increased! Not decreased. Excellent note!

Seth Godin says that price really isn't the issue - it's value provided. Don't drop the price of a product you're selling, increase the perceived or true value and everyone is happy.
