A great blog with some awesome links, but the sense of humor is the best!! This reminds me of a night a few months ago when 5 of us missed a movie, and couldn't figure out what to do...I need to inform them of this rule!

My stumbler lovefest continues, but hey, I have known these folks for years, like one time Pittsburgh boy Johnny (who is afraid to ride the incline ??? He is a pussy , lol). Johnny's page is full of great sites, and he has a wonderful sense of humor and an absolute heart of gold. He is also a babydoll, and if people say I have had a hard life, folks, this guy is the real Phoenix and has more guts in his baby finger than I do in all ten of my skinny digits.

""A Woman" This is written in the Hebrew Talmud, the book where all of the sayings and preaching of Rabbis are conserved over time. It says: "Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his head to be superior, but from the side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved." Pass this on to all exceptional women that you know.. and to men so they know the value of a woman."

From his list of George Carlin quotes: Religion has convinced people that there's an invisible man...living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten specific things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do any of these things, he will send you to a special place, of burning and fire and smoke and torture and anguish for you to live forever, and suffer and burn and scream until the end of time. But he loves you. He loves you and he needs money.

...just recently, I have been doing a lot of thinking about the healing and encouraging effects animals have on us, if we let them. Yet once again this week I am reminded of this, this time by your avatar. Now at first, I gotta' tell ya' that I thought, "Oh brother! Is this one of those cutsie attempts to lasso in da women?" But Sergio, you reiterated to me a very powerful lesson: "Don't assume and turn your back to walk away based upon looks and first impressions. Truly, violence, suicides, manipulation, and effects of propaganda could be prevented, perhaps even avoided, if we all could pay tribute to that simple, yet evasive principle. Long winded? Sorry. I like the "random blog entry" viewing option provided by SUE (StumbleUpon Extreme) because not only does it get me out past the shallows past the safety buoys, but I just feel that if I am going to visit someone who has opened their door to me, I should have the courtesy to first remove my shoes at the door, and not just hover rudely in the entryway. Vampires are denied access into a place w/o the direct permission of the master of the house :-) Be forewarned though, I am a very curious soul, and once in I will seek to gain entry into every door down the hallway and upstairs, even into your bedroom where you sleep , and if you have locked the door, I will still take a stab at it with the pick-set I always have handy.

I ventured through Sergio's pages for awhile then on an impulse looked to his intro...

"Some people will like me and some won't. So, I might as well be myself, and then at least I'll know that the people who like me, like me." -Hugh Prather".

You can't successfully argue with honesty, even if it pisses you off and turns your skibbies red! Lotsa' lil' diamonds in the rough hidden here. I loved the "I Believe" poem and "Things To Keep" (although I've read it dozens of times, it's never old). Now some might consider the bowl of "Bush Condoms" offered freely at his bar might be a bit impertinent, but the brazen "For the [person] who doesn't know when to pull out" slogan had me laughing, and laughing hard. There's a link to Floyd's version of Dorothy's trip, a lil' "how-to" give handjobs with deft hands... (of course, I already know how to give myself those... but oh well.)

Sergio has his own take on spirituality and things that go bump in the night. He's upfront and "take it or leave it." Some I took, some I left. I doubt he even noticed, less cared, either way.
