I honestly believe that we can become better people. Life is about progression and progression is a lot to do with self-control. This article has a great view point of how to create that self-control.

Good article about taking your less-than-happy emotions and making something positive from them.

From the page: "Sometimes before you can think positively you have to feel and express something negative. As someone who prefers to avoid uncomfortable feelings, I know this is oftentimes difficult and scary."

From the page: "If you can't see the silver lining in your situation, connect with your big-picture sense of gratitude." This is the technique that works best for me.

Contrary to popular belief, even positive people can't heal wounds with platitudes. "Everything happens for a reason" doesn't erase the pain of divorce.

Thanks to my good friend: http://loriangel1313.stumbleupon.com This is a very good article on dealing with emotions if you can't easily shake things off. I have spent alot of time trying to overcome dealing with jerks and other not so nice people and situations. What's that old saying - they'll bring you down to their level. Maybe that's good in some cases and not in others. I guess you just need to learn to pick your fights and from failure.
