Not good points on rejecting Vista. My favorite line is "what is the point in being forced to BUY Microsh!t every year they come out with a new operating system, and they stop supporting it." It took around six years for Vista to hit the market place. You get what you pay for.

It just wouldn't work for me because of the drivers and video games. It's my Crack I tell you!

"Hmm Windows isnt that good after all... I am done using windows operating system, I found something more advanced and easier to use with faster and better applications that are free. Its called Ubuntu." that made me laugh

These have to be the least convincing reasons for switching to a Linux based OS. On the other hand, it's nice to see on a site about Vista.

DickBeldin: Not entirely true...
Your assertion "If there were enough people using linux, there would be hackers and crackers specializing in it. Windows is an environment that is so available that the crackers have something to practice on." is false.
There is a large number of servers out there with linux on it - so much so I would say that it's a prime target for crackers and hackers and virus writers (oh my!)
Also, think of it this way: if availability was the reason that windows was/is cracked so often, wouldn't open source help the crackers write their viruses? Think of the amount of cred a virus writer could get by infecting linux - "I cracked the uncrackable."

Its a better idea to setup Ubuntu and let them see it. However, the hype is not completely accurate. If there were enough people using linux, there would be hackers and crackers specializing in it. Windows is an environment that is so available that the crackers have something to practice on.

This is from a website called 'Secure Vista .NET' : (this blogger touts on the title page) "...the Ultimate source of security for your Vista Ultimate" "I am done using windows operating system, I found something more advanced and easier to use with faster and better applications that are free. Its called Ubuntu." ATTN: If anyone ever tells you Microsoft is the way to go and Linux is just a small mouse, it's not a bad idea at all to present this webpage to them...
