summer70 rated 30 months ago- I've just read the article "Are atheists afraid of God?" and, as I come from the UK, where our 'national religion' is 'C of E' but where the majority of the population only go to church for weddings and funerals, I am amazed, but saddened, by the influence of right-wing christianity on the US, to such an extent that atheists are often depicted as some kind of anti-social 'other'.
