From the page: "That's right -- Google's in the SEO business now, selling services through DoubleClick's Performics to people who want to rank well on -- um -- Google."

Right on the Money. Not long will go before DoubbleClick will be forced to putting pressure to get their own clients to rank higher than others. This is going to create a lot of distrust in the industry and don't be surprised when SEOs and business owners start shouting about and try to instigate a change in the status quo.

Google has crosed the line. Even if Performics is just part of Doubleclick, in no way a search engine can afford it to be or own an SEO company. They should have seen this comming and have thought about that before they bought Doubleclick. Google aint as nice as they want us to beleive.
