The idea itself of kite aerial photography is fascinating, but fasten-up a relatively expensive piece of equipment like that sends shivers down my spine. Makes me want-to try-it.

This is fascinating. BUT like any good hobby, will demand time-money-and being resourceful.

Breathtaking scenic beauty taken from an expensive camera riding on a kite! How's this for unusual entertainment? BEAUTIFUL views to behold... from the proverbial bird's eye view... the images are stitched together to give a 360 degree view, as the kite flies. Makes me want to be a bird!

Testing to make sure the shutter is being triggered by the radio control before letting go. You can see the camera hanging from the kite line in the shadow

Wow... sending an $800 camera up on a kite. What a cool idea. Assuming, of course, he doesn't get the kite stuck in a tree like I would Still, the photos are amazing!
