    "Those two newly discovered planets are about 1/2 light years away from Earth." Proxima Centauri is the closest star to the sun, and its ~4ly away. other sources put Gliese 581 at 20ly

    Hmmm, imagine zipping through space for 6 months to move to a new planet? :) Course, you have to think that it`s likely there would already be life on another one so similar to Earth.
