Our solar system rests inside of a GIGANTIC gaseous bubble created by the energy released from the Sun. The very edge of this bubble, which stretches out for billions of miles in all directions, is called the "Heliosheath". It is between this area where Voyager 1, one of two space-probes launched by Nasa in 1977, continues it's race outward into the rest of the Universe. The influences of our Sun has reaches, literally, far deeper than just providing light, engergy, and warmth to our precious planet. :)
