I don't care what content you have to offer, if there are talking ads on your site it's a thumbs down.

From the page: "If you were to actually leap into the tunnel and allow yourself to fall, you would accelerate toward the center to a very high speed. Then you would zoom through the center and start decelerating. You would eventually stop when you reached the tunnel's lip on the other side of the moon, and then you would start falling back down the tunnel in the other direction. You would oscillate back and forth like this forever"

Finally got the answer for this question. Until now i thought i would be stuck in the center of the earth at a some moment after the oscillation begins to decrease.

"You would oscillate back and forth like this forever." if you drilled anywhere other than at one of the poles, you would soon hit into one of the walls due to the rotation of the moon. It rotates once a month, but in a hole that diameter it would probably take less than a day to drift into the wall. Even if you drilled at the poles, there is almost certainly a small amount of precession of the axis that would cause you to hit the wall eventually, albeit after a much longer time.

From the page: "What would happen if I drilled a tunnel through the center of the Earth and jumped into it?"
