- A new blog and one wonders where it will go. However, it is just different enough from the same old, same old that it is worth a look. We have a very interesting mix of youtube videos (reggae, soul and a James Baldwin interview) that almost restores my faith in the value of youtube. Beyond that, there are fascinating links to physics, one of which I have already swiped, and some exceptionally intelligent links to online reading- John Cage talking music, and a fellow named Gaston Bachelard discussing the poetics of space. From Bachelard: "But any doctrine of the imaginary is necessarily a philosophy of excess." Cool stuff. Go look.
