Haunting eyes in an avatar that feels... real. Neither staged, made up or made-up. Between the Avatar and her choices you get the feel of a very down to earth, caring person. One of those rarest of things these days, a teenager I'd actually care to meet.
On rereading, that was meant to be a compliment not older man creepiness. I'm safely half a world away and not going anywhere.
