I think I've had my phone for about 5 years now, still waiting for it to break so I have an excuse to get a nice one, stupid Nokia.

Complete load of crap. Obvious as soon as they mention CO2. Lots of cell phones means lots of human prosperity. If that is something that you think should be avoided, then by all means, get rid of your phone, and any other modern convenience and go live in a cave. Serious, lead by example. The first modern convenience that I think you should voluntarily give up is green blogging! Quite frankly, I'm sick of stumbling this crap!

Someone got their statistics muxed ip. The average person uses their phone for less than a year do they? Doubtful even for the US, but for the world that's a ludicrous thought.

Not that I could live without it, but a compelling read. I have had the same cell phone for the last three years.
