Ruffredge - An American Citizen who makes the effort to bring forth information we need to fight against those who are trying to destroy our country. Thanks to him and the many who not only take the time to inform themselves but share that information.

"This guy obviously hasn't been paying attention. If he can't see that the tea party movement was a protest of the federal government in general and not just the Dems, then he's obviously picking and choosing the info he chooses to accept based on his own personal bias, i.e. he has no credibility and deserves no respect." Ruffedge's comment to (http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2009-08-12/the-gops-misplaced-ra ge/full/). Sir, are you sure you're not talking about yourself? --- What point are you trying to make or prove? ....and read the first sentence in the paragraph I cited to answer your last question. "Conservative protesters should remember that the recession, which led to so many of the polices they oppose, is almost entirely the result of Bush polices." "I disagree with the statement, but it's the implication that "we should remember" that I have issue with." What is the implication of that phrase? I think it would benefit everyone if we remember that it was under the Bush Administration that we started two huge, expensive wars, as well as hammer tax cuts through Congress, reversing the trend in federal budget deficit that Clinton had worked so hard to achieve. The article states it clearly: the Bush administration's policies led to the $1.2 trillion deficit in the federal budget. Where were the protesters then? "Sub-prime lending and defaulting loans caused the recession." Sub-prime lending and defaulting loans were not the sole cause of this recession. They were the trigger that brought the state of the American economy to the fore, releasing mass panic in the stock market. The low interest rate, tax cuts, and deregulation were all part of the Bush administration's legacy on the economy in the past 8 years. "Bush went with bail outs and tarp funds to head it off, it didn't work so Obama did the same thing only on a grander scale." It didn't work so well? It has achieved nothing. TARP was intended to clear out the big banks' bad assets, so that they would have some head room to start lending again. Read (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/09/24/citigroup-locations-to-be_n_298189.htm l). Obama's stimulus package was a different beast, with a lot of money going to public functions, not private banks. However, with earmarks from both ends of the political spectrum, it ended up looking similar. I was, and still am opposed to any sort of governmental subsidies. I wish they would keep it simple and work with tax rates, not complicated subsidies. "I was against the bailouts under Bush, I am against them under Obama. The government cannot borrow and print money to fix the economy. It doesn't matter if it's done by Democrats or Republicans." Bravo. I completely agree. Whether it be Democrats or Republicans, we can't be giving what amounts to be free money to corporations and individuals. I was even against Cash for Clunkers, which is an undersized version of TARP for the middle class. However, at least Cash for Clunkers brought up our country's average MPG. What has TARP done for the majority of America? "The "Conservative protesters" are against deficit spending regardless of which party does it. The writer of the article in question seemed to be oblivious of this fact." Once again, where were the protesters when Bush was digging this financial hole we're in?

Good example of RWA cognitive dissonance. Typical ignorance and intolerance. Nice moustache. No verbs.

Hmmmm- I think the idea that Hitler was a Christian come from the fact he was Catholic, which you know is usually considered Christian... although judging by your stumbles, you probably don't consider Catholic Christians.

From a review: "The idea that Hitler was a Christian is born out of necessity from agenda driven atheists. Christianity must always be shown in a negative light." Quite the opposite actually; the lie that Hitler was an atheist is born out of necessity and desperation from agenda-driven fundamentalists with a penchant for falsifying history. http://www.ffrf.org/fttoday/2002/nov02/carrier.php

Hey Scott, didn't ya watch the weeklong Micheal Jackson MSM adulation orgy? And that was for a talentless puke who didn't even like his own race. The pedophiles HAVE reached the same lofty heights. Get ready for the folks that want to marry their pets.
