As the comments on the site pointed out, this was a much better interview than what Stewart pulled off, and considering how shrill and um, stupid he can be sometimes, I must say I'm rather impressed with Lou Dobbs.

Did I hear Hitchens correctly: "people are not completely credulous"? Does he mean that they are incompletely credulous? Or maybe credibly incredulous? How about incredibly credulous? -Janulous

Wow. I guess I never expected this kind of interview on conventional media. It's thoughtful, and no one's shouting. The chart of "major theological births from virgins" is especially interesting

From the page: "Lou Dobbs interviews Christopher Hitchens author of God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything." COMMENT: Hitchens says, "Religion ends and philosophy begins, just as alchemy ends and chemistry begins and astrology ends, and astronomy begins." That's the truth. He also thinks it's time for a new enlightenment. I agree, but I would say we need to be re-enlightened. Didn't we embrace science and reason back in the 50's?
