- Interesting analysis on a trivial subject. I must beg to differ where the Phantoms costume is concerned,I think Billy Zane looked pretty hot in it.

- I'd put the golden age Sandman higher on the list. The trenchcoat and gas mask may be simple costume, but it is still uber-creepy.

- A lot are downright goofy, female comic book heroes are ignored completely, and the top spots go to fan favorites. I get the impression that the top three are there because they feared some kind of backlash if they didn't get the top honors. Also, it's pretty annoying how they say that certain costumes would look ridiculous in real life and then show Iron Man and The Punisher from their live action movies. It's not a level playing field.
