cmgriff discovered 18 months ago- Rethos is social neworking site that provides a platform where people and organizations can unite about issues like the the environment, poverty, climate change, etc. It launches is Spring 2007, but they are taking pre-registrations now. Looks promising and very interesting.

- A social networking site with a social conscience. Worth a try! (But if you suffer from epilepsy you may do well to skip the intro.) It remains to be seen, but hopefully it won't be so worthy or humourless or one-country-centric that it drives people away.
