HHHHOT! It's not just a BS public service announcement either. Sure, it doesn't happen to all meth users but I personally know of at least one person who lost all their teeth from meth addiction. From what I understand, it's more common for avid users. But, hell, I'm no drug expert. Believe what you like.

From the page: "These pictures are nothing more than a means to exert control through fear. You could post equally repulsive images of the effects of over-eating for example and would you then stop eating? How about images of gruesome traffic accident victims, would you stop driving? I think not. These pictures are of people who have a host of problems besides meth addiction and represent a tiny minority." one of the only intelligent comments on the whole website.. not saying that meth is a good thing, but still..

The rampant caries associated with methamphetamine use is probably caused by a combination of drug-induced psychological and physiological changes resulting in xerostomia (dry mouth), extended periods of poor oral hygiene, frequent consumption of high calorie, carbonated beverages and tooth grinding and clenching.
