This comes as no surprise to me ... a lot of bird species are adapted for and dependent on specific regional environments for survival -- since global warming is causing a northern shifting climate change pattern, which is altering the environment just enough to make previously suitable habitats no longer suitable, this is leading to extinction of several species ... this isn't just happening with birds, but with mammals as well -- what's worse, many harmful insect species seem to expanding in the wake of the warming trends ...
