***i needed to bump this because i think it's the music lover's best kept secret (i've always been bad at keeping secrets). if you want to hear actual good canadian music (vs. the crap that goes international *coughcoughnickelback*) go here. if you want to look up my playlist, it's sargt000. shocker. ---------- how much do i love this site. let me count the ways. i'm sure it slows our network down to a crawl, but i don't care. i can play most of my favorite tegan and sara here too. yay!

If you're tired of the stuff you normally hear on the radio and are looking for some great new music off the charts, you have to check out this web site. Nothing but Canadian bands and artists are featured, along with full concerts and studio sessions. Also, check out the magazine archive link at the bottom...sadly, the format changed to what you see on the main Radio 3 site, but that archive is the most engaging and interesting site I've been to on the web.

Nothing but amazing music from some of Canada's celebrated--and not-so-celebrated--artists/bands. Go listen for yourself!

Canadian music is NOT profiled enough in the US. Feist most recently has broken new ground via an Apple iPod commercial. But there are still so many others: Sam Roberts Band, Broken Social Scene, K-OS, and the ever-present timeless and classic Tragically Hip. Just get on it with this one! Hurry up! Don't delay! Run, don't walk to the site, and make sure to get in mainlined into your music bloodstream!
