From the page: "A writing prompt is a word, phrase or idea that is used to generate, you guessed it, writing. Some prefer to write about the prompt, some just go for whatever comes out. Often there is a specific length of time to write. "

I was quite chuffed to find that Elizabeth shares this little secret with me: free form writing is a great boost when you're stuck. Writing takes a lot of creativity and sometimes you need a little push. This is just what I need sometimes to get the channels open so that all those ideas can find expression in the written word.
