*sigh* To claim that the bands on that page are punk is a sad statement.

No punk on this site anywhere. People need to stop thinking emo is in anyway affiliated with punk. It's not. Punk is about social change, PLEASE tell me when you find ANY emo that has a fucking point.

If you are into Hardcore-Punk check out, http://www.anthologyrecordings.com They just put out MOONDOG a previously unreleased project by Walter Schreifels (of Gorilla Biscuits, Quicksand, Rival Schools fame). Anthology is very similar to eMusic or iTunes Napster etc, except Anthology has no DRM! Anthology Recordings, has done it right. They say they are "the worlds first digital reissue label". This basically means that the music on the site is rare out of print music that until now was only available in limited quantity record pressings, Anthology is now making this rare and highly in demand music available for download as an MP3. This is the type of music that has been, and continues to be coveted by record collectors etc. Some of these records are trading at really high prices. (African Head Charge is a band that is available on EBAY for $60, Anthology Recordings has it for $9.98!) If you are really into music and never took what was fed to you by the mainstream, Anthology Recordings may be your antidote. If you are into Christina Aguilera there is always iTunes. However, if you are NOT into that pop stuff, then his site is for you. The site has some other great community features, forum, free mp3 download, weekly podcast and is RSS enabled. Also there are some really great liner notes (some written by the artist) for the bands and some previously unavailable images and even music videos that come included in the download.

Depends on if you mean Punk Rock (what's your definition) or Punk Pop.. there's a big difference, however, from the site: "PunkRockVids is a website created by Luca to offer videos and music to people who like punk music. We have teams of filmers all over the world who provide content for free, using their own time and money."

AH...here it is, I've finally found it--I wondered when this would show up...The Death Of Punk Rock. Joey Ramone must be spinning in his grave.
