I can't help but notice how the dog sculpture on the headstone closely resembles Anubis the ancient Egyptian god of death. Just a coincidence? I expect not.

I wish I'd found this yesterday. Thank you to all women, men, and four-legged friends who have given their lives and hearts in service. We here at home can barely begin to understand the endless sacrifices that you have made.

Non of our veterans should ever be forgotten, man and best alike. And for the people who don't care or do forget it's ok because we fought for you to have free will and to be able to believe in what you want. It can be a thankless job, but most of us don't need your thanks just your understanding.
