Some people are terrified of an education not put together by the state and federal government. I see things quite differently seeing as public education was created by pre WWI Germany as a means of herding the next generation into their "proper role" as good citizens who did not question, and for military recruitment.

Most people seem to be under the impression that having two school-aged children means I have two separate curricula to go through, while pulling off a little preschool with the four year old and keeping the younger two occupied as best I can."
