Anyone who visits my SU pages on a regular basis knows this about me: I'm so not an artsy-fartsy type of girl. My interests are varied but do not necessarily lean to the direction of the arts. It's not that I don't enjoy them, because I do. It's just not something that I spend a lot of time exploring due to my main interests lying elsewhere. However, I spent quite a significant amount of time on this site and looked at each and every single piece of work by this artist. She has the most amazing way of reaching out and touching you. Below is just a small sampling of her work and ones that touched me the most - enough for me to share with you. If you like them, please visit her site and see them all. You surely won't regret it.

- I love the sentiments in this card (which is the header on this marvelously inventive site)....OK, I'm not a woman last I looked, but everyone should take the time to create their own Pondering Pool in life....and to invite their friends...and perhaps a few enemies who will listen and not just yell....to enjoy some time pondering in that Pool of Solitude and Thought.

- Susan Mrosek's website, Pondering Pool, has a delight collection of funny, insightful, and quirky texts and drawings. I have never seen her cards before, but am now indulging in the artistry she has created single handedly. Great find parataxic A small sample of what you'll find on the site

- Oddly enough, the top tag of this website is 'humour'. I think it's more arts-- because it's so original, and quirky. The 'art-cards' are fantastic little epiphanies.

Brilliant, funny, quirky and somehow true.
Pondering Pool is an unusual collection of note cards written, illustrated, and designed by Susan Mrosek I am so glad I found this site. I love Susan Mrosek's quirky humour. These cards are wonderful. I have ordered some.
