I'm not sure if she had intended it as such or not, but the amazing thing about the above statement is that passion, insight, beauty, and depth are all entirely subjective, and in order to exist, they must have opposites (apathy, ignorance, ugliness and shallowness). And yet, in a well-developed view of our universe, one comes to understand that there are no dualisms, only trinities. Thus, those concepts are inherently paradoxical in that they cancel one another out, and that are another example of false dichotomy.I guess that implies that, in this case, the paradox is the third portion of the trinity. Cool, eh?
