pinguy rules I've just used one of the pieces of free software he recommends and my computer is now working about ten times faster. Oy! Everything's here, and in his description below all the important bits are linked at the site. If nothing else, bookmark it for when you need to sort out your hard drive. Thanks pinni. I am trying to explain technical computer terms to the not-so-technical user in friendly and easy way to understand for people without a great deal of knowledge on the subject, by showing you handy or interesting things that a PC can do. I cover some of the basics by showing you an interactive video on Hazards To A PC a list of ten steps to help "Crashproof" A PC, a guide to Spring Cleaning A PC, and showing you the Most Common Ways To Kill a PC, a list of some really handy FREE software for doing tasks on a PC and to keep it safe and healthy, and a list of some of the best FREE PC games I have come across. To help get started on searching the web I have put together a page of some of My Favorite Websites. I also show you how Bittorrent works and some of the terms used and list of some of the most popular torrent sites, to help you start using bittorrent straight away. I go into depth about firefox with some guides to extensions and tweaks and why you should use it over IE. I also cover a lot of PC Related topics that I thought people may find handy or interesting like windows tips, basic hacks and tune-ups. There is also a second part to website where I have put together some of things that I have found funny or interesting, like documentary's and funny video clips, I also have a section on music videos and streaming music tv channels ( the Ministry Of Sound one is well worth a watch if you like dance music). And I have got links to sites that have a load of TV shows and Movies that you can watch online for FREE. So hopefully there should be something here that you will like or find useful.
