To me,the best of ALL dog breeds there is,but I'm biased.
My last "faithful friend" was indeed,a Malamute....ALL 112 lbs of him!
I say "faithful friend" because I owe my very life to my Lobo(Spanish = Wolf!).He was alert enough one night,in the middle of winter,to arouse a neighbour when I'd suffered a seizure,and lay freezing to death.
As it was,I suffered frostbite to both hands,and it was touch and go,if I'd lose my left hand,or not.
But thanks to the dedication of the University of Utah hospital staff(burns unit),my hand was saved.
This is one of the reasons....I now work at the University of Utah hospital!
They left me with a debt I cannot repay.....not once,but TWICE!More on the second occasion at a later date!
Special thanks to my dearest friend Manda24,who knows of my love and passion for Malamutes,but I think this may be the first time she know's why!!!!!!!
