From the page: "Photons denied a glimpse of their observer Can photons tell if they're about to be watched? John Wheeler first proposed a means of resolving this bizarre possibility by coming up with a new twist on the double slit experiment almost 30 years ago. Now, physicists in France have performed the experiment for the first time (Science 315 966)."

Photons! They're a dessert topping! They're a floor wax! They're both!

this gave me a good laugh.

Excellent article but it seems to screech to a halt. A subject like this deserves a little more information than that.

An interesting article on wave-particle duality and an experiment some French guys did. Quantum physics FTW!

Wow. This might support the conclusion that the world we know is a simulation. One could argue that this behaviour of photons could be expression of a simulation only resolving the level of photonic behaviour when required as opposed to simply fudging the result.

The protons weren't allowed to see their observer, but they managed to get on the internet and look at pr0n. This messed up the experiment in its own, unique way,
