I don't like the control they have over what is appropriate or not. even if you have a private account. When I hear the words photo and bucket I think lame and controlling

Photobucket is by far the best image hosting and photo album site. I have tried them all. Snapfish, Flickr, MyPhotoAlbum, Picasa... Snapfish has a small and ugly interface. Flickr uses 'sets' and sometimes downloads aren't available. Plus the free Flickr only shows the last 200 photos you uploaded. In MyPhoto albums other people can't download your pics. And Picasa has limited space. Photobucket allows for EASY downloading, creating albums, embedding in forums and websites, slideshows, and if you have a Pro account you can upload by FTP.
