The Pleiades (which means "doves" in Greek), also known as Messier Object 45, Messier 45, M45, The Seven Sisters or Cabrillas, it is an object visible to the naked eye in the night sky with a prominent place in the ancient mythology, located at the side of the constellation Taurus. The Pleiades are a handful of very young stars which are located at a distance of about 450 light years from Earth and are contained in a space of thirty years light. It was formed around ago about 100 million years ago, during the era Mesozoica on Earth, from the collapse of a cloud of interstellar gas. The biggest and brightest stars in the cluster are colored blanco-azulado and nearly five times larger than the Sun. WOW!!

The Horsehead has always awed me. To think, there's new stars being born before our eyes.
