FTA - "Earlier this year, 12,000 people in San Francisco signed a petition in support of a proposition on a local ballot to rename an Oceanside sewage plant after George W. Bush. The proposition is only one example of the classless disrespect many Americans have shown the president. Accordin... more

Harry Truman left office with lower ratings than Bush, now historians consider him one of the greatest presidents of all time, at number five. Hard to believe Truman was hated by the public more than Bush. I am sure history will judge Bush more fairly fifty years from now, but not so sure about Jimmy Carter, who in my opinion was truly the worst president in modern times.

Dubya tried to work with Democrats or Republicans? Dubya actually makes the Republican platform look sane, that takes skill, usually he's used his position as president to rape the country at every opportunity. When he gave tax cuts, it was to the top 1% of wage earners, when he "slashed" $40 billion from the budget in 2005, it was by cutting food stamps, medicaid benefits, and student grant programs. Bush has been the worst president in history, and he's lucky that most people (himself not included) respect the rule of law, because he deserves to be hanged just like Saddam Hussein.

From the page: "Earlier this year, 12,000 people in San Francisco signed a petition in support of a proposition on a local ballot to rename an Oceanside sewage plant after George W. Bush. The proposition is only one example of the classless disrespect many Americans have shown the president." We only disagree on the basis that naming a sewage plant after Bush is a slur on sewage.

Oh My Goodness! This man must come from an alternate universe where there is a Good Bush. Here we have Bizarro Bush. Trying to keep to just the most superficial facts: I am a Uniter and not a Divider. Meant just the opposite. Making appointments to high offices, using golf cronies with no experience. GOING to WAR without listening to the FACTS. When someone criticizes that choice, Expose his CIA wife! Go on vacation and don't watch TV, during the most publicized hurricane predicted to hit one of your least protected cities. Ignore any advice that doesn't agree with what you want to hear. Or perhaps just reading the Wall Street Journal! (Re: Economy) All the while keep talking about patriotism as the most important virtue. (By the way, I have to notice that very few conservatives have bothered to defend this article, so it is probably a tiny tiny minority fringe viewpoint. Let's hope so.)

Whine whine whine. Presidents should not have to meet job expectations or be subject to review. Know you're just being an apologetic partisan, and a twit. Twat. Twit.
