del35 discovered 5 months ago- The MacBook Air went first; a tiny Fujitsu laptop running Vista was hacked on the last day of the contest; but it was Linux, running on a Sony Vaio, that remained undefeated as conference organizers ended a three-way computer hacking challenge Friday at the CanSecWest conference. This is exactly what I said a few entries down. The nice thing is that a MacBook will run Windows, and can certainly be made to run a Linux distribution like Ubuntu.

shadowpool rated 5 months ago- Did he install Linux on that Macbook he won? =)

malfist rated 5 months ago- *loves his new ubuntu beta*

zvii rated 5 months ago- From the page: "MacBook Air first to fall in hacking contest vs Vista and Linux Put up against two rivals, the latest version of OS X proves to have the most quickly exploited security hole (updated) March 28, 2008 4:42 PM A MacBook Air running OS X 10.5.2 has won hacker (in all senses) Charlie Miller $10,000 - plus the MacBook Pro Air that he managed to hack into. Hmm...wonder why that is.- From the page: "Some of the show's 400 attendees had found bugs in the Linux operating system, she said, but many of them didn't want to put the work into developing the exploit code that would be required to win the contest."
