I owned an Altair. Anybody remember the Alpha Micro? That's what we used in high school. That was the first computer I hacked. We also had Apple IIs in high school. Maybe your computer doesn't have personality. I named mine Selena. She's a high maintenance gal who always keeps complaining that she needs more RAM. She plays games and works on BOINC in her spare time. She secretly aspires to be like her idols, HAL and Skynet. Unfortunately, she hates my guts, sometimes refuses to boot up properly, and keeps losing all my good porn.

Still have my C64! Wish I still had my VIC20, with tape drive! Still have the COMPUTES mags, so if I get bored, I can type in a program!

I remember when I first started programming, it was on a commodore 64. I used to type out programs from a magazine (every week they had different games/programs to type in). I didn't have a floppy drive, so if i lost power in the middle, all my work would be gone.
