The Obama revolution
Barack Obama had no placards. His campaign desk was sparse, undecorated and banner-free. He walked on to the stage with no music at all. He left the same way, with only the sound of thunderous applause filling his ears. The message was clear: Barack Obama does not need campaign gimmicks and he is not doing things the old-fashioned way. And it worked. On Friday at the DNC rally there was no sign of any hesitation. Instead there was a clear resolve to spread the Obama revolution throughout America. 'Decisions we make in the next decade will determine the futures of our children and our grandchildren,' he said. 'This is not a game. This is not a contest for the TV channels. This is a sober moment.' The Obama revolution

It seems that the "WE THE PEOPLE" movement that started 4 years ago with Howard Dean has gotten a winning star... I bet that Howard Dean's grass-root funding model is now what is going to finance Obama's campaign and decidedly distinguish him from the other candidates... Howard Dean tested the model, built-up a mass movement of local activists in "Democracy for America" that is now being presided over by his brother Jim. Obama had been selected a "Democracy for America" senate candidate and his campaign financed by the movement. This time around "We the people" has: - a charismatic and politically-savvy candidate - a tested organization with local activists all over the country. - a tested financing model that works - a group of activist organizations ready to give a helping hand. Good luck "We the people"!
