The script is only 35K including a single image, but it works in all current browsers including Opera and Safari, it offers complete customization over the editor layout and style, it has XHTML and BB code generation via plugins, and pretty much everything else you'd expect. If you're searching for a WYSIWYG editor, NicEdit belongs on your shortlist.
