it isn't really FOIL when (x+y)^3; should have been "(x+y)^2"; FOIL assumes TWO sets of parentheses. So, um, as stated by Velox, below: "Fail." Still, hella funny, and was a nice math refresher. Velox' calculations are correct, I concur: "(x+3)^3 = x^3 + 3x^2 + 9x + 27 not x^3 + 9x^2 + 27x + 27"

Eh, it's funnier before you remember what FOIL stands for. But take care, earlier reviewers - his math's actually right. Plug in x = -3 to check.
