I don't think this is true. Funny nonetheless.

Yeah, it does sound fake, but it's funny. Loved the last part: "I'm really enjoying myself," said Carl, 44. "I've expanded the article on the Nazi death camps, and corrected a minor point of fact about the FV 4201 Chieftan tank. Plus I'm communicating with women in a different way now. Although it's hard to know which of the many people on the Star Wars discussion board are actually female."

From the page: "A slightly creepy loner who has been frightening women in his neighbourhood by hanging around their houses and trying to talk to them about military history and Star Wars has been ordered by a judge to serve his community service on Wikipedia." I hope this is satire. :p

Reads and sounds like an Onion article, but still hilarious.

Smells fake, and I gather from the contributer's review that this site hosts fake articles, but still funny. Sadly the first thing I thought was "...hey, that won't work, contributions to wikipedia have to be verifiable"

Is this thing British? It must be as it talks about the man's solicitor. It's almost perfect Monty Pythonesque (new word created!) "is it funny?," totally whacked, maybe offensive (if you could figure out how it could possibly be), brilliantly imaginative but well-grounded in reality humor that we Americans just can't seem to do. We're altogether too blatant about it. Hey Brits! You're assets to humanity! Keep it up. Don't sell out.

From the page: "A slightly creepy loner who has been frightening women in his neighbourhood by hanging around their houses and trying to talk to them about military history and Star Wars has been ordered by a judge to serve his community service on Wikipedia." This is too weired.
