Finally the most overrated, incredibly bloated anti-virus software seems to finally be getting reviews that don't seem jaded by advertising dollars spent at the media outlet. It is amazing to me that it has taken all these years for someone to even mention Symantec's suck@ss update method...

Finally the most overrated, incredibly bloated anti-virus software seems to finally be getting reviews that don't seem jaded by advertising dollars spent at the media outlet. It is amazing to me that it has taken all these years for someone to even mention Symantec's suck@ss update method. For those of you not lucky enough to have worked with it, basically you've got to manually uninstall it and manually reinstall it... unless you've got the hundreds of machines to patch that makes it worth sinking a week of work into doing in an automated fashion.
