    I just don't understand the decision-making processes of the Catholic Church.

    Same as in the US: the Catholic Church finds they have a pedophile, and instead of any justice or accountability, the priest is moved off to a new parish with a whole fresh new crop of boys. How "Christian".

    This is a crime against children. And if their abusers are alive they should be tried.
